Approval Manager/Engineer for fire protection products with development perspectives (m/f/d)

What does the role involve?
In this role, you are responsible for coordinating product validation strategies based on the relevant testing and approval standards. By developing concepts to examinate and evaluate the product properties of our fire protection products, you proactively support development projects, thereby contributing to their successful implementation.
You work together with the test engineering department in developing the test strategy so they can prepare and conduct internal and external fire tests compliant with relevant standards. You then evaluate the results and derive measures from them.
You negotiate the approval and test strategy as well as the correspondent results with the relevant national and international approval bodies, make the required evidence for a smooth approval process available and provide customer-oriented information.
This position is a development position. It offers you tasks that give you the opportunity to demonstrate your abilities and grow professionally within the space of a few years.

What you need is:
- University degree (Bachelor or Masters) in mechanical engineering, process/chemical engineering or chemistry
- At least 3 years’ experience in the application of test and approval standards, ideally in the field of fire protection
- High affinity for practical/manual activities coupled with strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Enjoyment in working independently and a strong target focus
- Team player with excellent communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment
- Willingness to travel
- German language skills are a plus
