What does the role involve?
Your task is the development of new modules or modular assemblies (motors, switches and electrical connections in the system) for the entire product portfolio of our Powertools in an interdisciplinary development team. In cooperation with internal and external partners you are responsible for the development, design and evaluation of technical solution concepts. To ensure that targets are met, you will also be responsible for supervising the production of test samples. You ensure that the product complies with internal and external standards and regulations and support the technical risk management. Furthermore, we value your input for the further development of technologies, as well as for the design of our future product portfolio.
Your tasks will give you the opportunity to show and develop your skills. After a few years, a variety of further development opportunities will be offered.

What you need is:
- Completed studies (diploma, master) in electrical engineering or mechatronics with focus on electrical drives
- First professional experience in development and motor design necessary
- Know-How in development and design of BLDC drives
- Confident handling of simulation and design tools (Mat-Lab, Simulink)
- Knowledge in the field of systematic development methods and the relevant tools
- Technical competence paired with analytical skills and affinity for practical activities
- Good communication skills in an international environment
- German language skills are a plus
