What's the role?

The position is limited to 3 years.
We are looking for a responsible development engineer (m/f/d) with experience in the development and testing of electronic circuits.
You have ideally already worked on the development of battery management systems and are familiar with the technological and normative requirements placed on modern control systems for Li-ion cells.

What does the role involve?

In this challenging position you work with our technology team to implement innovative ideas for electronic circuits.
You develop layouts and create the documentation for production at EMS. In addition to commissioning and testing your own circuits you are responsible for a number of third-party circuits. You set up the test environment (LabView, TestStand) and expand it continuously.
You evaluate alternative components and assemblies for existing circuits and be responsible for their release.
You present your documented results and use your expertise to implement new technologies in the existing system environment.

What you need is:

  • Completed degree (diploma, master) in electrical engineering or related fields
  • First professional experience in the development and testing of electronic assemblies
  • Software experience in schematic and layout development (e.g. Altium or Eagle)
  • Know-how in the calculation and design of components
  • Working knowledge of simulation tools such as PSpice or LTSpice
  • Analytical skills with an affinity for practical activities
  • Perseverance and high goal orientation
  • Good communication skills in an international environment
  • Very good command of English
