We are looking for an experienced Development Engineer (m/f/d) in the product development of impact wrenches and drivers. With your creativity, you drive innovative solutions for outstanding products in an international and interdisciplinary team. What does the role involve?
Do you share our enthusiasm for impact wrenches and drivers? To ensure shorter product life cycles as well as highly differentiated products we would like to expand our mechanical development team. The focus is on the systematic development and optimization of whole impact wrenches and drivers as well as impact mechanism and gearbox components. Your task is the technology development up to series implementation. You are responsible for innovative solutions and their implementation in cooperation with international partners. You are also examine the suitability for robustness and performance requirements. In close cooperation with our competence areas (e.g. testing, measuring technology, computational engineering, prototype workshop) you narrow the technical limits and ensure our know how in the relevant technologies. Furthermore, you support as a team player the implementation of components into power tools.

What you need is:
- Completed degree (diploma or master) in mechanical engineering or similar
- Several years of experience in developing of impact wrenches and drivers as well as knowledge of the relevant manufacturing technologies
- Experience in 3D-CAD systems
- Strong analytical and implementation skills
- Target oriented and proactive way of working
- Willingness to international travel and good English skills
