What's the role?
We are looking for an experienced development engineer (m/f/d) for our battery and mains power electronics. You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams, leading innovative solutions to production-ready products. If you draw your daily motivation from the following terms "combining theory and practice, understanding systems, shaping, taking responsibility and a strong awareness of quality and costs" - then we are exactly the right employer for you.
Who is Hilti?
We develop, manufacture and sell cutting-edge products, technology, software and services for the global construction industry. Hilti stands for innovation, quality and direct customer relationships.
From the pre-development of our own motors, electronics and firmware, to series-maturity - our intelligent mechatronic systems come from our own research and development laboratories.

Here, both your expertise - e.g. simulation, EMC-compliant design and layout evaluation - and your practical skills in the electronics laboratory are required.
You work closely in the respective project team with mechanical design, software development, motor development, approval, quality and the corresponding test groups. Together you will optimize the drive solution in terms of performance, cost, manufacturability and robustness.
As part of the project team, you are in direct exchange with our external manufacturing partners to ensure the respective maturity of the samples and series production.
Due to your experience, you are also a valued contact person for younger electronics developers and a sough-after solution finder for challenging problems in the field of EMC and power electronics.
What do we offer?
We offer you a unique place to work, in which you are part of a creative and interdisciplinary team. We will give you a lot of responsibility to develop yourself and we´ll support you in shaping your individual career path.
