Digital Data professional with technical/engineering background (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Data Engineer (m/f/d) to join our firestop approvals team and drive digitalization projects. Join us and take over the overall internal and external coordination and implementation of activities to develop and maintain future oriented digital data management systems, focusing on the technical description of firestop/fire protection products and its applications.

What does the role involve?
In this role, you are responsible for the technical project management of digitalization projects, developing data management systems concepts and for the correct description of product technical properties, with focus on test and approval data for firestop and fire protection products.
You will define and implement processes, interfaces and responsibilities for the data entry and data maintenance of technical data, working closely together with the development engineering departments and being the interface to technical marketing and software colleagues.
By designing, creating and implementing validation strategies, you ensure the quality of technical data entered to & generated by the developed digital solutions, guaranteeing conformity with test and approval documents and certificates.

What you need is:
- Completed university degree (Bachelor or Masters) in a technical area (e.g. engineering or construction) or educational technical background with relevant professional experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience
- High affinity and interest for IT systems (especially databases, data analysis and data visualization), coupled with strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Technical understanding of construction products and applications (preferably passive firestop systems)
- Enjoyment in working independently and a strong target focus
- Team player with excellent communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment
- Good project management and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel, German is a plus
