What does the role involve?

Your core task is the design of new, especially sensorless control strategies for our electromechanical brushless drive systems. This includes the development of new control algorithms, which you formulate in close cooperation with your interdisciplinary project team (drive experts, simulation, electronics and software engineers). You will act as an innovation driver in your field and, in addition to technology projects, you will also implement your own ideas for future-oriented, differentiating features and efficient drives. In addition to your development activities, the independent formulation of requirements, coordination within the project teams and documentation of your work results is part of your everyday work. We support you to develop in your role - and beyond.

Why should you apply?

What you need is:

  • Completed university degree (Master, PhD) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, drive technology/robotics or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional or academic experience in the development department and initial experience in the technical management of projects would be an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge in at least one discipline of drive engineering (control engineering, drive simulation, ...)
  • Safe handling of common simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink
  • Strong analytical mindset and high-quality awareness
  • Creativity and openness to new technologies
  • Team orientation and confident appearance in an international environment
