Engineer as Product Manager (m/f) Central Europe with an 12months Onboarding Period in Sales
What's the role?
As Product Manager in our team in Kaufering near Munich you are responsible for the product life cycle of our key product lines in the Central Europe region (DE, AT, CH, PL and NL). You develop product strategies for your own product lines, take full responsibility for their implementation in the region and actively define new product innovations in cooperation with our corporate functions.
To build your career as Product Manager successfully, we ensure that we equip you with the necessary experiences during your onboarding process with Hilti: Starting as Field Sales Representative in the Central Europe region for the first 12 months, you will get to know Hilti’s unique direct sales strategy, our products and customers thoroughly. In preparation for your work in the field, you will receive an intensive training in your first weeks at Hilti.

What does the role involve?
As Product Manager you strategically define and actively manage the product life cycle of your own product lines using your knowledge gained by working in the field. You are the responsible person for the functional steering and coaching of the corresponding local Product Managers and you build the interface towards our corporate functions. Together with the Branch Managers and the local market organisations you develop customised marketing concepts in order to obtain product and market leadership. By communicating and cooperating with the market organizations, you create market analyses and explore developments of the most important applications and propose improvement measures for our product portfolio. You are in charge of the introduction of new products and partner with the global marketing departments to manage time-to-market-projects successfully.

What you need is:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in marketing preferably in the B2B industry
- Strong ability to lead through influence and collaborate closely with various stakeholders
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills coupled with project management know-how
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and German/Polish/Italian or Dutsch is a clear benefit
- High willingness to travel
