What's the role?

As Head of Software Marketing, you are driving business model innovation and strategic transformation of Hilti - from a premium tool & consumable company towards an integrated solution provider with state-of-the-art software solutions.
Together with your team of product managers and marketing experts you are responsible for the strategic software business in Central Europe (DACH, NL, PL) as a lead region and the Global Competence Center Application Software.

What does the role involve?

You are responsible for the fastening & protection software portfolio in our Central European Region. While sensing business needs, you identify opportunities for differentiated software. In close collaboration with the Business Unit and the Market Organizations you manage go-to-market projects as well as the existing software portfolio, including customer lifecycle management. In short, you are fully responsible for the economic success of application software in the region Central Europe.

You also hold the responsibility for the Competence Center Application Software. In this role you develop, pilot and establish global strategies for software marketing and selling. You evaluate the end-to-end customer experience and define the customer journey for software. With global IT, you implement the necessary infrastructure, ensuring a state-of-the-art customer journey.
With your experience in Central Europe you support and advise other regions on marketing, sales and processes of application software during master classes and other software community touchpoints.

As a team leader of software product managers and marketing experts you enable your team members to achieve their targets by giving coaching and offering support.

We support digitization in the construction industry: we expand our product portfolio with digital services and software and work consistently on the topic of IoT and SaaS.

What you need is:

  • University Degree (i.e. Diploma or Master) in the field of business administration, economies, technology or engineering
  • 5 years plus of sales and marketing experience with B2B software products especially SaaS, preferably in the construction industry
  • Proven interdisciplinary leadership skills
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, conceptual and project management skills
  • Experience in successfully driving initiatives through a matrix organization
  • Team player, personality with drive, willingness to perform, assertiveness, creativity and resilience
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication and presentation skills in English and German
  • Willingness to travel and strive for an international career at Hilti
