Master thesis Control System Design in Drive Predevelopment (m/f/d)
What's the role?
We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive student (m/f/d) with great interest in control system design to contribute to the predevelopment of drives. Together, we will shape future innovations for our power tool applications.

What does the role involve?
Starting with an idea you will develop a novel, stable control design for challenging systems and verify your solution using simulations and lab measurements. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified engineers specializing in power electronics, drive technology, simulation and embedded software, equipped with state-of-the-art methods and tools.

What you need is:
- Master student focusing on control systems with an outstanding academic record
- Knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, PLECS
- Familiarity with electric drives and the modeling thereof, ideally also of PWM inverters
- Good understanding of control system design, ideally using advanced methods such as gain scheduling or model predictive control
- Strong analytical skills
