What's the role?

As Material and Process Manager (m/f/d) for Spare Parts in our Global Spare Parts Logistics Center in Bebra you are driver of optimal material management and spare parts handling between the European Tool Service Centers and the global Central Spare Parts Warehouses. With your communicative strengths and proactive mind-set you understand the values of your stakeholders and bring in own ideas to enhance our processes.

What does the role involve?

You're the one who has the overview of the material stock in the Spare Parts area, both in the distribution centers and the Tool Service Centers. Through checking the orders and stocks of the central warehouses in SAP on a daily basis, you can quickly identify bottlenecks and find solutions. In all processes, you have the area-relevant KPIs and customer satisfaction in mind. By creating new articles and maintaining good master data, you ensure smooth logistics processes.
For the global flow of goods, you regulate imports and exports as well as customs clearance.
Through coaching, you create an awareness for the optimal handling of spare parts among your stakeholders in the warehouses and repair centers. In supply chain projects you bring in your experience and conceptual strength to optimize processes.

As part of the global spare parts management team you will be part of a global team of different nationalities and cultures.

What you need is:

  • Completed studies ideally with a focus on Supply Chain
  • First working experience in international supply chain management and materials management
  • Ideally, additional training in the area of customs clearance or willingness to qualify for the duties of customs and foreign trade.
  • Team-oriented, communicative and assertive
  • Routine with MS Office as well as
  • SAP-R3/APO/BI in the field of logistics
  • Good understanding of numbers
  • Fluent in English and ideally Russian, Mandarin or Spanish, conversational German
  • Willingness to travel and to relocate for an international career
