Procurement Process Expert (m/f/d)
What's the role?
You will be responsible for all purchase-to-pay (PtP) process activities and system landscape in Procurement Indirect Materials. Being part of the Global Procurement Process Team, you design, develop and implement process workflows to improve efficiency, data transparency and compliance with state-of-the-art technologies like SAP ARIBA. You will orchestrate and support our Regional Procurement teams across the globe to provide the content and manage the supplier set-up end-to-end. You train yourself to gain a deep understanding of our system landscape first to become a champion to support our global operational workforce with resolution findings. With this, you will become a driving force of our digital transformation journey.

What does the role involve?
Your work starts with a detailed understanding of our current PtP processes and Ariba Guided Buying platform. It gives you the necessary insights and the fact base. You will then be the Go-to person for all the Hilti Market Organization to create content like catalogs and forms, test and administrate those content while closely collaborate with respective supply managers, Ariba consultant and suppliers. As a champion of process and system management, you will onboard new Market Organizations and train Operational Buyers in operating the system. Documentation of knowhow and the creation of excellent training materials is key to leverage knowhow across the teams. System maintenance, continuous content increase and further development of order methods and the solution itself is in your direct responsibility. There can be bumpy roads as we procure in many different ways.

What you need is:
- University degree with technical and/or business education or similar.
- With min. 2-3 years of experience in project work, preferably in procurement processes with Ariba tools
- Strong system affinity (eProcurement systems, Ariba is of advantage, SAP MM)
- Sound understanding of procurement operations
- Sound analytical skills with a working knowledge process architecture
- Exceptional written and spoken communication and presentation skills in German and English
