With your passion and several years of professional experience as quality manager (m/f/d), you will ensure electronic components quality within new product development projects and their effective implementation throughout the product lifetime within Hilti quality and safety standard, aiming for overall reduction of product related risks and hazards. With your broad expertise you are a driving force in our international team.

What does the role involve?
In this role you will be responsible to ensure the achievement of Hilti quality and safety standards within the assigned projects of product development by support of definition and steering of quality-relevant project tasks, supervising that the required quality/development tools are properly applied and by driving quality reviews as according to guidelines. You strive for continuous improvement of platform component design aiming at overall reduction of product related risks/hazards (eg. Manufacturing defects, application hazards). Together with your project team, you ensure the development readiness (PT,QE) and series production readiness (QN) for newly developed, improved and externally sourced components for new products – this also includes ensuring components introduction according to project schedule and product requirements.
In addition, you support Product Care Risk Mitigation and Product Maintenance activities for the assigned product portfolio and manage quality-related topics for external suppliers of assigned product portfolio by execution of audits and review/release of quality related contract documentation.

What you need is:
- University degree in the field of electrical or mechatronic engineering
- At least 10 years work experience in international environment
- Several years of experience in quality management and application of standard quality tools (eg. Root Cause Analysis, Risk Assessment)
- Distinct general knowledge of product, application and approval requirements
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and high goal-oriented working methods
- Ability to build networks internally and externally
- Presentation of projects / results in certain committees (including management)
- Team player with very good communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment
- Very good knowledge of German and English, as well as willingness to travel internationally
