What's the role?

For our R&D department, we are seeking a dynamic and highly determined cement chemist or mineralogist (m/f/d) for the development of innovative inorganic multicomponent mortars for chemical fastening.

What does the role involve?

Scope of your work is the development of technically complex multi component chemical mortar formulations based on inorganic binders and the assessment of the technological maturity. As a member of an R&D project team embedded in our matrix organization, you are responsible for the development of technological concepts and for the design, lab and pilot plant production and testing of novel prototypes. You present and discuss the topics driven by you on project and steering platforms. You are in touch with various internal functions, suppliers, and collaboration partners.

What you need is:

  • Completed university education with focus on chemistry or mineralogy, ideally with a PhD
  • Specialization in cement chemistry and hydraulically setting binder systems; familiarity with classical and non-classical crystallization processes and mineral phase formations
  • Strong analytical capabilities and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in English; German skills or willingness to learn the German language
