R&D Group Manager (m/f/d) Technology Chemistry
What's the role?
As R&D Group Manager (m/f/d) Technology Chemistry, you will lead a team of technical project managers, R&D chemists, and chemical laboratory technicians. Together with your team, you will be responsible for the development of chemical anchoring technologies including the synthesis of reactive resins. In your role, you will actively shape the technology roadmap, further develop the technology field of chemical anchoring systems, and foster your team members in their functional and personal development.

What does the role involve?
In your function you will be responsible for the further development of the binder technologies as well as the fillers and
additives for fast curing chemical anchoring materials (reactive resin, reactive diluents, hardeners, etc.). You work closely with international Hilti sites, pilot plant, external partners, suppliers as well as with the internal project management and marketing departments to ensure application oriented technology development. In addition, you coordinate results, capacities, budgets and time schedules within and outside the department. Furthermore, you are responsible for the budget.

What you need is:
- Completed studies in chemistry with PhD, preferably in the field of organic or polymer chemistry
- Several years of professional experience in industrial R&D chemistry
- Leadership abilities - Experience in leadership and personnel development in industry is an asset
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical and conceptual skills and strategic thinking. Strong communication skills
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written) and the willingness to learn German
