Regional Head of Material Management (m/f/d)
What's the role?
As Regional Head of Material Management in the Logistics Team for the Central Europe Region (Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Poland) your job is to successfully develop and implement the principals of Strategic Supply Chain management and to contribute to Hilti’s objectives for sustainable and profitable growth.

What does the role involve?
In this role, you develop and drive strategic initiatives. You manage the roll-out of the Global Material Management Roadmap in the region. You are responsible for the S&OP process and strategic planning based on forecasts to deliver both availability and financial targets. You are part of the global Material Management community and provide strong recommendations.
You will be required to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure a good service level and continuous improvement processes, always keeping in mind the customer. You will be fully committed in monitoring supply flows of our warehouses and Hilti Stores, ensuring stock and products availability.
You lead a team of 4 teamleaders and the department with 40 persons, in Kaufering near Munich. As a leader, you aim at developing your team and groom the global talent pipeline.

What you need is:
- Master’s degree in supply chain or Engineering or Business Administration
- At least 5 years of supply chain planning experience and several years of leadership experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making and presentation skills required
- Team management capabilities
- Effective communication skills in written and spoken English that you can use efficiently when working in a highly complex matrix organization
- Team player, personality with drive, willingness to perform, assertiveness, creativity and resilience
- Willingness to travel and strive for an international career at Hilti
