Specialist in logistics as International Transport Manager Spare Parts & Repair (m/f/d)

Bebra
Reference No: 8942

What's the role?

As we are relocating our global Distribution Center Spare Parts to Bebra, we are looking for an experienced supply chain specialist (m/f/d) with a deep understanding and a broad view of international transport processes.
In this position you will act as a business partner and accompany international transport projects in the field of repair and spare parts. You like to participate in the development, harmonization and implementation of global best practice transport processes in Europe for European repair services to and from the customer, as well as to ensure the worldwide supply of spare parts from the suppliers/plants to the distribution centers.

What does the role involve?

As an International Transport Manager, you will be heavily involved in the initial move of the global Spare Part Distribution Centre to Bebra. This includes the implementation of the global tool service strategy and the relevant transport processes including cost allocation and spare parts supply. You will establish relationships with carriers, integrate them and manage the transport flows professionally.
As an interface to various internal and external stakeholders, you will be an important part of various supply chain projects with a focus on transport.
As part of cost controlling, you will support spare parts management and tool service centers in the monthly/quarterly business reviews.
For an excellent customer experience you will live a "LEAN" culture and further develop relevant processes and procedures. In order to continuously improve repair processes and spare parts supply, you will create and implement transport training concepts.
