Technical Project Manager - Lifetime validation of drive modules

What does the role involve?
You will be responsible for the device-independent verification of electrical drive modules (including motors, electronics, switches), which includes the development of comprehensive methods and ensuring reliable implementation in platform development projects.
In the role of a technical project manager, you will validate various methods by closely comparing them with internal system life cycle tests and against established standards in other industries, such as automotive or industrial drive technology. You will use your established relationships with scientific institutes and incorporate your findings into the development of the methodology to proactively drive it forward.
With your strong communication skills and empathy, you will compile the requirements of the various stakeholders and use them to design standardized test procedures to ensure the service life of the electrical modules.
You will coordinate the necessary test activities, evaluate the results and prepare them to be able to present your results in the relevant steering committees and to convince your stakeholders of your decision.
You enjoy the technical leadership of a cross-functional or cross-divisional team. The time and budget planning as well as the derivation of investment requirements for the further development of test and measurement technology are part of your tasks.

What you need is:
- Completed technical studies or doctorate with specialization in electrical engineering or mechatronics
- At least 8 years of professional experience in development projects in an industrial environment
- Strong knowledge in test methodology, failure analysis and statistics
- Experience in controlling and technical management of development projects including stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and a high level of goal orientation
- Very good knowledge in project management and presentation methods
- Team player with very good communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment
- Willingness to travel internationally, German language skills are an advantage
