What's the role?

We are looking for a technical project manager (m/f/d) for the further development of our handheld power tools in series production, in order to improve quality, costs and functional optimisations with an international, interdisciplinary team.

What does the role involve?

The focus is on the technical project lead for product improvements in serial production. You are responsible for the clarification of tasks and the development of new design concepts as assess their technical and economic impact.
You coordinate the development activities from design concepts, approval, documentation and series implementation of the necessary product changes. You ensure that the product complies with internal and external standards and regulations.

What you need is:

  • Completed degree (diploma, master) in mechanical engineering or related fields
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in product development or production engineering
  • Ideally first experience in project management
  • Good knowledge of 3D CAD systems, ideally Unigraphics Solutions and PDM systems
  • Perseverance, goal orientation and a high level of self-initiative
  • Strong communication skills in an international environment
  • Very good command of English and willingness to travel internationally
