What's the role?

As technical project manager (m/f/d) you will closely work with our developers and product managers to develop and implement innovative solutions for our drive systems.
With your many years of professional expertise in the development of electronic hardware, you will support our engineering team, especially in the field of electronic design.

What does the role involve?

You are responsible for the drive systems in various development projects for cordless power tools. You will be responsible for the conceptual design of electronic solutions and act as an interface to various internal and external stakeholders. You will specify system requirements for our drive systems, which include mechanics, power electronics and firmware.
In your projects, you will be responsible for creating the long-term roadmap for the respective drive platform and for its effective implementation. Further tasks are the creation of tests and the definition of milestones. As part of your technical project management, you will also be responsible for cost and time planning.
The advertised position is a development position: The tasks described above will give you the opportunity to demonstrate and develop your skills.

What you need is:

  • Completed degree (bachelor’s, master’s) in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or related disciplines
  • Minimum five years of professional experience in the development and implementation of electronic hardware
  • Some experience in technical project management would be an advantage
  • Experience in offshore development (especially in Asia) and intercultural cooperation would be a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for innovative ideas
  • Excellent team and communication skills in an international environment
  • Strong proficiency in the English language
